Nick Thomas developed a competitive mindset early in life through basketball and other youth sports. His fascination with the numbers and strategy behind sports soon carried over into financial markets, and by middle school, he was already spending his free time researching stocks, investments, and market activity. That interest eventually led Nick to create and launch his own financial and technical analysis company for fun, providing traders with market analysis and key insights. His work gained recognition and led to an opportunity to contribute to a financial newsletter. While he enjoyed the analytical side of his work, Nick eventually realized how much he missed working directly with clients. He joined the Waterford team to combine his analytical background and financial knowledge with that client interaction, helping business owners better understand their financial performance and operations while working toward their long-term goals. Outside of work, you’ll find Nick hiking and enjoying the outdoors with his girlfriend, playing poker, practicing card tricks, experimenting with new technologies and building tools to make everyday tasks and workflows more efficient, or producing music for others to enjoy. Nick looks forward to helping his advisory clients unlock their financial insights and understand their business like he has learned to understand the financial markets, ensuring their success and financial achievement.
