While majoring in engineering at Georgia Southern University, James discovered a passion for the field of bookkeeping. He enjoyed it so much that he changed his major to Business Management Entrepreneurship with a minor in accounting to provide insights into the books and advice to entrepreneurs and small business owners. While growing up, he was exposed to a family of entrepreneurs with landscapes and HVAC companies and spent weekends and summers working and learning the front-line business. Occasionally, while working full time, he would be in charge of working in the back office, scheduling and managing accounts and taxes. Unfortunately, the back office stress hurt his family life, which led him to want to step up and reduce that stress for others in the industry to spend more time with their families and customers!
